Jesus Market Community Outreach

Love in Action. Hope in Community.

The Jesus Market is a compassionate community initiative created by RCCG Tower of Salvation to support individuals and families facing real hardship in Burton‑on‑Trent. At a time when many quietly struggle with rising costs, food insecurity, and social isolation, the Jesus Market offers a supermarket‑style experience where guests can walk in, browse, and take home essential items freely.

Everything is designed with dignity in mind. Guests choose from food essentials, clothing, toiletries, household items, and children’s goods, restoring a sense of normality and choice to those who may feel they have lost both. Inspired by the heart of Scripture to feed the hungry, care for the vulnerable, and lift the burdened, the Jesus Market expresses faith through practical love.

This outreach is powered by generosity, volunteers, partners, organisations, and individuals who believe that kindness can change a community. Every item given, every hand that serves, and every act of compassion becomes a reminder that hope is still alive in our town.

Why It Matters

The Jesus Market is more than a charitable effort; it is a lifeline. It restores dignity, strengthens families, and reminds our neighbours that they are seen, valued, and loved. In a world where many feel forgotten, the Jesus Market stands as a simple but powerful declaration: love still works, and community still matters.
