Tower of Salvation
THE 7 SPIRITS OF OUR OPERATION
A core expression of who we are, how we function, and what governs our spiritual atmosphere.
At RCCG Tower of Salvation, our operations are shaped by seven foundational spiritual pillars. These “7 Spirits of Operation” define our culture, guide our conduct, and influence every ministry, department, and expression of worship. They are not just values. They are spiritual postures that keep us aligned with God’s heart and purpose.
1. The Spirit of Worship
Scriptures: Psalm 99:9; 1 Chronicles 16:29; Psalm 29:2; Psalm 67:3–7
We are a worshipping church. Worship is not a segment of our service; it is the atmosphere of our lives. We honour God with reverence, joy, and deep gratitude. Through worship, we ascend into His presence, receive strength, and create an environment where miracles, healing, and transformation flow freely.
What this means for us:
We prioritise God’s presence above programmes.
We worship with purity, passion, and understanding.
We cultivate a lifestyle of worship beyond the church walls.
2. The Spirit of Prayer
Scriptures: Isaiah 56:7; 1 Thessalonians 5:17; Numbers 14:28; Acts 12:5
Prayer is our lifeline. We believe nothing moves until prayer moves it. We pray consistently, boldly, and expectantly; knowing that God hears and answers. Our intercessors, leaders, and members stand in the gap for the church, the community, and the nations.
What this means for us:
We pray without ceasing.
We pray with faith and authority.
We pray until results manifest.
3. The Spirit of Love & Unity
Scriptures: Psalm 133:1; John 13:34–35; John 15:13,17; Acts 2:42–47
Love is our identity. Unity is our strength. We are a family church where every person is valued, accepted, and supported. We walk in love, forgive quickly, and protect the bond of peace. Our unity creates an atmosphere where God commands His blessing.
What this means for us:
We love intentionally and sacrificially.
We build relationships, not cliques.
We stand together as one body.
4. The Spirit of the Word, Obedience & Doing
Scriptures: Psalm 107:20; John 14:15; Deuteronomy 27:10
We are a Word‑based church. We teach the undiluted truth of Scripture and obey it wholeheartedly. We do not just hear the Word; we live it. The Word heals, delivers, corrects, builds, and transforms us into the image of Christ.
What this means for us:
We honour the Word above opinions.
We obey God promptly and joyfully.
We apply Scripture in daily living.
5. The Spirit of Purity
Scriptures: Matthew 5:8; 2 Timothy 2:19–22; Psalm 24:3–5
Holiness is our lifestyle. We pursue purity in thoughts, actions, motives, and relationships. We believe clean hands and a pure heart give us access to God’s presence and blessings.
What this means for us:
We flee from sin and youthful lusts.
We pursue righteousness, faith, love, and peace.
We maintain integrity in all things.
6. The Spirit of Excellence
Scriptures: Philippians 1:10; 1 Corinthians 14:40
We do all things well. Excellence is not perfection; it is doing our best for God with what He has given us. From worship to administration, from hospitality to media, we serve with diligence, order, and honour.
What this means for us:
We give God our best, not leftovers.
We plan, prepare, and execute with care.
We maintain order, beauty, and quality in all we do.
7. The Spirit of Results
Scriptures: 1 Corinthians 2:9; Acts 10:38; Acts 2:46–47
We expect results. We believe in the supernatural power of God to save, heal, deliver, restore, and transform. We operate with the mindset that God confirms His Word with signs following. We are a church of testimonies, growth, and impact.
What this means for us:
We believe God for the impossible.
We labour with expectation.
We celebrate every soul saved, every life changed, every miracle received
